Ingredients:

FOR CHICKEN BREAST

  • 2 chicken breasts single piece boneless
  • ½ cup buttermilk (4 tbspns Greek style yogurt + 4tbspns milk)
  • ½ tspn of chicken stock powder
  • Some salt and crushed black pepper
  • A pinch of oregano
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying

FOR SANDWICH

  • 4 bread slices (thick)
  • Some lettuce broken into pieces
  • A cheese slice
  • Some whipped sour cream (OPTIONAL)
  • Some creamy mayonnaise
  • Some tomato sauce
  • Some basil leaves (OPTIONAL)

Procedure:

-Marinade chicken breasts in buttermilk for around 3 hrs.

-Combine bread crumbs with all the seasonings and adjust according to your taste. Heat oil in a deep fryer.

-Now coat the chicken breasts well with crumbs and deep fry until they are done.

-Toast bread lightly and apply some sour cream, place lettuce and basil leaves, drizzle some sauce and mayonnaise, place fried patty and cheese slice and cover it with the other bread slice.

-Slice and serve with some hand cut chips and tenderloins.

Outcome:

Tasty and healthy chicken sandwich is ready.

Ingredients:

FOR MARINATION

  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 tbspn cracked black pepper
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of oregano
  • A pinch of thyme
  • A pinch of basil
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • ½ tspn freshly grated ginger

FOR CUTLETS

  • 8 lamb cutlets
  • 6 tbspns olive oil
  • An onion thinly sliced

Procedure:

-Wash and pat lamb cutlets with a clean kitchen towel. In a bowl mix all the ingredients given for marination. Pour this mixture or lamb cutlets and mix well. Refrigerate for 2 nights.

-Heat olive oil and fry onions in it. When they are dark brown take them out leaving the onion flavoured oil in the pan.

-Now place 3 cutlets at a time and cook them on very low flame, nearly 15 minutes per side or until they are well done.

-Arrange them in a serving dish and serve hot with any one of your favourite dip.

Outcome:

Tasty herbed lamb cutlets are ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • 2 sweet mangoes but firm (washed)
  • 1 pint strawberries (washed and clean)
  • 1 can thick cream (approx. 1 cup)

Procedure:

-Beat the cream well until light and fluffy. Add icing sugar while beating if desired.

-Wash and pat strawberries with a clean kitchen towel. Take off their leaves cut them into halves vertically.

-Wash mangoes and tidily take off its peel with a smooth thin sharp knife and then cut it into chunks.

-Arrange both the fruits in a wide dish.

-Fill the piping bag with whipped cream and decorate your dish as desired and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

-Serve chilled after meals.

Outcome:

A healthy though rich dessert is ready to serve.
