Ingredients:

  • 1 sponge cake
  • 2 cups of thick cream
  • ½ cup icing sugar
  • 1 tin pineapple

Procedure:

-Whip cream and sugar.

-Cut sponge cake horizontally into two pieces.

-Sprinkle some tin pineapple juice on both of the cake pieces to make them soft and juicy.

-Now apply some whipped cream on one sponge and then place some pineapple slices on it and then cover it with the other pastry sheet.

-Smoothly apply some of the remaining whipped cream on the top and on its all Four sides.

-Decorate the cake with pineapple slices and rest of the whipped cream.

-Refrigerate.

Outcome:

Tasty Fresh cream pineapple cake is ready to be served.

Tips:

-Use piping bag to decorate.

-Soak the sponge well in tin pineapple juice.

Servings:

This will serve 4 – 8 people easily.

Ingredients:

For Sponge

  • 1 cup self raising Flour
  • 1 ½ cups plain Flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 gms bar dark chocolate or cooking chocolate
  • 250 gms bar unsalted butter
  • 2 cups sugar

For Ganache

  • 250 gms dark chocolate or cooking chocolate
  • ¾ cup cream

Procedure:

For Sponge

-Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.

-In a saucepan make chocolate sauce by melting butter, sugar and chocolate on low medium heat.

-Make a lite thick syrup.

-Cool it For 10 minutes in a bowl.

-Add eggs and whisk. Now gradually add sifted self raising Flour, plain Flour and cocoa powder.

-Mix to make a smooth batter.

-Grease pan and pour this batter into it. Place it on the middle rack of the preheat oven For 60 minutes.

-Meanwhile make ganache.

For Ganache

-Pour cream and chopped chocolate (200 gms) in a saucepan and make a smooth chocolate paste over low medium heat.

-When it is smooth allow to cool and put in refrigerator For 30 minutes or until stable.

-Take out you moist cake and pour ganache over it. Apply it on its sides and make a smooth layered cake.

-With a veggie peeler grate rest 50 gms of the chocolate and decorate the cake with it.

-Refrigerate and serve it with a scoop of ice cream or just cake piece alone.

Outcome:

Tasty, soft, gorgeous, moist and sexy cake is ready.

Tips:

-Refrigerate the ganache For atleast 30 – 40 minutes to make it stable.

-Take dark chocolate or bittersweet chocolate or cooking chocolate with 70% – 80% cocoa.

Servings:

This will serve 6 – 12 people easily.
